गैरसैंण स्थाई राजधानी के लिए आन्दोलन बहुत सही है। पूर्ववर्ती कांग्रेस पार्टी की हरीश रावत सरकार द्वारा भराड़ीसैंण में स्थाई राजधानी भवन बनाने के बावजूद गैरसैंण सत्र में इसकी घोषणा न करने की चूक और अब भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार द्वारा जानबूझकर मामला लटकाए जाने से उत्तराखंड राज्य आन्दोलन की भांति यह स्वत: स्फूर्त जन आन्दोलन है। यह आन्दोलन उत्तराखंड में सरकारों द्वारा पिछले 17 सालों में राज्य की घोर उपेक्षा व स्थाई राजधानी के मामले में छलने के कारण उत्पन्न हुआ है।
हम स्थाई राजधानी के लिए आन्दोलन के साथ हैं। पहाड़ वासियों की अस्मिता और अस्तित्व के लिए गैरसैंण आन्दोलन जरूरी है मजबूरी है। गैरसैंण उत्तराखंड की अस्मिता, अस्तित्व, आन बान शान, विकास और राज्य का केन्द्र है। गैरसैंण के बिना उत्तराखंड का कोई औचित्य नहीं। गैरसैंण राजधानी बनते ही पलायन रूकेगा राज्य भर से गैरसैंण जाने वाली मोटर सड़कें रोजगार देने लगेंगी। इन पर ढाबे वाहनों से रोजगार सृजन तय है। पहाड़ में मोटर सड़कें अस्पताल और स्कूलों की दशा सुधरेगी। पर्यटन बढेगा। स्थाई राजधानी के लिए बाबा मोहन उत्तराखंडी अपनी शहादत दे चुके हैं और उत्तराखंड महिला मंच सहित हमारी महिला शक्ति अनेक अन्य संगठन व युवा सालों से यह लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं। लोग जगह-जगह आन्दोलन कर रहे हैं।
मगर खतरा यह है कि जिस तरह से पिछले कुछ सालों से माओवादियों और नक्सलियों की उत्तराखंड में सक्रीयता बढी़ है और वे पहाड़ वासियों की गैरसैंण भावना को अपने मनसूबों के लिए आन्दोलन के बहाने भुनाने की जुगत में हैं, उससे आने वाले समय में यह गलत राह पर जा सकता है। जहाँ हिंसा, जवानों की हत्या और बर्बादी के अलावा कुछ नहीं है। इससे पहले कि ऐसे लोग अपने मनसूबों में कामयाब हों भारतीय जनता पार्टी की वर्तमान सरकार को स्थाई राजधानी का हाथ आया मौका नहीं चूकना चाहिए और गैरसैंण को बिना समय गंवाए स्थाई राजधानी बना देना चाहिए। साथ ही पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में अच्छी शिक्षा, मोटर सड़कें व स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के साथ ही सस्ती हैलीकॉप्टर सेवा का दायरा पूरे उत्तराखंड में फैलाना चाहिए। तभी पलायन भी रूकेगा और गैरसैंण मुद्दा भी हल होगा।

The movement for the Gairsen permanent capital is a must . Despite the fact that the former Congress Congress has made a permanent capital building in the Bhararisen , it is no lie to declare it in the Gairsen session and now it is a self-motivated mass movement like the Uttarakhand state movement, knowingly hanging the case by the Bharatiya Janata Party government. This movement is generated by the governments in Uttrakhand for the last 17 years, because of the gross neglect of the state and cheating on the Gairsen capital.
We are with the movement for the permanent capital. The Gairsen movement is necessary for the identity and existence of mountain people. Gairsen is the Uttarakhand’s Asmita, existence, Aan Ban shan,development and heart of the state. There is no justification for Uttarakhand without the capital of Gairsen . Non-motorized motorways will start to work from across the state as the Gairsen capital becomes a halt. These are fixed employment jobs from Dhabbe vehicles. Motor roads in the hills will improve the condition of hospitals and schools. Tourism will grow. For the permanent capital, Baba Mohan has given his martyrdom and our women power including the Uttarakhand Mahila Manch is fighting this for many other organizations and youth years. People are moving in place.
But the danger is that the way the Maoists and Naxals have increased in Uttarakhand for the last few years and they are engaged in reducing the sense of mountainous people for the sake of their movement, this Movement can go wrong way. Where violence, killing the soldiers is nothing but sedition and ruin. Before such people are successful in their ideals, the present government of the Bharatiya Janata Party should not let go of the permanent capital and should make Gairsen a permanent capital, without losing time. Along with good education in the mountainous areas, motor roads and health facilities as well as the affordable helicopter service should be spread across Uttarakhand. Then the escape will also stop and the Gairsen issue will also be resolved.
