स्वामीअनंन्त विभूषित जगत गुरु ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर शंकराचार्य स्वामी माधवाश्रम जी महाराज आज सुबह 9 बजे ब्रह्मलीन हो गये। अब ऐसे दंडी स्वामी के दर्शन दुर्लभ । अश्रु पूरित श्रध्दांजलि। “जय राम श्री राम श्री राम जै जै राम” उनका बहुत पसंदीदा मंत्र था। 75 वर्षीय स्वामी माधवाश्रम जी ज्योतिष्पीठ के शंकराचार्य थे जो आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य द्वारा स्थापित चार मठों में से एक है, वे उत्तराखण्ड क्षेत्र से शंकरारार्य के पद पर सुशोभित होने वाले पहले सन्यासी थे। वे अखिल भारतीय धर्म संघ समेत विभिन्न धार्मिक संस्थाओं के अघ्यक्ष थे। उनका जन्म रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के अन्तर्गत बेंजी ग्राम में हुआ था। उनका बाल्यकालीन नाम केशवानन्द था। आरम्भिक विद्यालयी शिक्षा के पश्चात उन्होंने हरिद्वार, अम्बाला में सनातन धर्म संस्कृत कॉलेज, वृंदावन में बंशीवट में प्रभुदत्त ब्रह्मचारी के आश्रम एवं वाराणसी समेत देश के विभिन्न स्थानों पर वेदों एवं धर्मशास्त्रों की शिक्षा दीक्षा ली, इनकी विद्वता को देखते हुए धर्मसम्राट स्वामी करपात्री जी महाराज के आशीर्वाद से जगन्नाथ पुरीपीठ के तत्कालीन शंकराचार्य स्वामी निरंजनदेव तीर्थ ने इन्हें ज्योतिष्पीठ का शंकराचार्य नियुक्त किया।
तभी से वे इस परम्परा का पालन कर रहे थे। स्वामी माधवाश्रम धर्मप्रचार एवं गौहत्या विरोधी विभिन्न आंदोलनों एवं संगठनों से जुड़े रहे। वे नियमित संयमित उच्च आदर्शों वाले दंडी स्वामी थे उनके के निधन से देश भर के सत्य सनातन धर्मावलंबी सन्न रह गए। आज उनके पार्थिव शरीर को ऋषिकेश मायाकुंड स्थित दंडीवाड़ा आश्रम में लाया गया। यहां उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित करने के लिए श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ लगी है, ब्रह्मलीन संत को दंडीबाड़ा स्थित आश्रम में शनिवार की दोपहर बारह बजे भू-समाधि दी जाएगी। स्वामी माधवाश्रम अखिल भारतीय धर्म संघ सहित विभिन्न धार्मिक संस्थाओं के अध्यक्ष व सदस्य रहे हैं। गो, गंगा, रोटी, चोटी और बेटी की रक्षा से ही सनातन धर्म की रक्षा के सूत्र को मानने वाले स्वामी माधवाश्रम महाराज को दंडीबाड़ा आश्रम में जयराम आश्रम के परमाध्यक्ष ब्रह्मस्वरूप ब्रह्मचारी , स्वामी राम हिमालयन यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलपति डॉ. विजय धस्माना, कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल, कोटेश्वर महादेव के महंत स्वामी शिवानंद गिरि, आदि भारी संख्या में लोगों ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी।
भगवती पराम्बा के परमोपासक उत्तराम्नाय ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य श्रीस्वामी माधवाश्रमजी महाराज आज (20 अक्टूबर 2017) प्रातःकाल में भगवती के परमधाम के लिए गमन कर चुके हैं। कल (21 अक्टूबर 2017) दोपहर 12:00 बजे मायाकुण्ड (ॠषिकेश) स्थित ‘दण्डीवाड़ा — श्रीजनार्दन आश्रम’ में श्रीमहाराज के पार्थिवदेह को जलसमाधि दी जाएगी। आप सभी श्रद्धालुजन श्रीमहाराजजी की अन्तिम विदाई के कार्यक्रम में पधारकर उनके प्रति अपनी श्रद्धांजलि निवेदित करें।

Since then, they were following this tradition. Swami Madhavashram was associated with various campaigns and anti-cowardly movements and organizations. They were regular masters of high ideals; Today his body was brought to the Dandivada Ashram at Rishikesh Mayakund. There is a crowd of devotees to offer their devotion here. The Brahmaline saint will be given a terracotta at 12 o’clock in the ashram in Dandibara. Swami Madhavashram has been the president and member of various religious institutions including Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Sangha. Swami Madhavashram Maharaj who accepted the formula of protecting Sanatan Dharma from the protection of Go, Ganga, Roti, Peak and Daughter, is the son of Jai Ram Ashram, Brahmaprama Brahmachari Maharaj, Vice Chancellor of Swami Ram Himalayan University, Dr. Vijay Dhasmana, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal, Mahant Swami Sivananda Giri of Koteshwar Mahadev, and a large number of people paid tribute to them.
